The former “Dirrty” girl, Christina Aguilera says that she’s toned down the sexuality on her forthcoming album ’’Back to Basics’’.
“The sexuality coming forward on this record is more softened,” she says in the July 24 issue of Newsweek. “It’s more pin-up, tongue-in-cheek. It’s playful. People take sex far too seriously.”
Christina says she was proud of the sexier, more controversial, image she projected on her last album, Stripped, in part because it elicited strong opinions.
“If you liked it, you wanted to root for me — ’Look, she’s empowered.’ If not, well, you’d stick all those labels on me.”
In the interview she also shoots down the rumor that there was ever a feud between her and Britney. “We were like best friends, but the media saw a navel and blond hair and had to create some drama,” she said.

Choice FM, People magazine reports, Janet dodged questions about her rumored upcoming wedding to her boyfriend of five years Jermaine Dupri and even claimed she didn’t know if they were engaged.
A DJ for the radio station: “You guys are getting married …”
Janet: “That’s what he said. He, um … that’s … everyone’s been asking me about this. He said something about September 26th we were getting married.”
The DJ: “What are you saying?”
Janet (laughing): “That’s the date the album comes out! September 26th.”
The DJ: “Are you engaged?”
Janet: “That’s what he said!
“So if … I don’t know. You know … Everyone’s been asking me about it. And if it’s meant to happen, it’ll happen.”
Before the DJ could ask his next question Janet asked: “Why is everyone just staring at me? It’s really quiet in here. It’s
too quiet in here.”

Lionel Richie told “Access Hollywood†that the media attention his adopted daughter, Nicole receives about her weight really bothers him.
Lionel said: “I’ll be honest with you, it hurts me more than it hurts her. I’m more sensitive. I take it more personally. I must tell you, I’m the basket case.”
Lionel also revealed that he has had words with his daughter about her weight and general health.
He added: “What are fathers for if you can’t point the finger every once in a while? “The good part of it is she is aware of it. She has heard this all her life from me so this is just a continuation of the reminder.”
Nicole recently admitted that she was too thin and wouldn’t want young girls to copy her look.

Looks like Vanessa can’t keep her hands off Nick even while the couple are having lunch. They were at Manhattan’s Atlantic Grill and TMZ reports Vanessa couldn’t stop pawing, petting and caressing her new man and she even strokes him under the chin which goes on and on… Nick on the other hand withstood the treatement. Nick gives back a little bit though only with a sweet touch of her face ignoring her desperate manipulation. No matter how much Vanessa may try, Nick simply refuses to kiss her in public. After several attempts, Vanessa goes in for the big one, but to the dismay of the paparazzi she just can’t get any satisfaction. Isn’t Vanessa getting desperate? And what’s up with Nick? Why not in public if in private? I mean it’s only a kiss for God’s sake!!
