CNN had the following statement on their news ticker on Monday: “Lionel Richie says he is not happy about his daughters pencil thin figure and neither is Nicole Richie, today she has checked into rehab for an eating disorder.”

However, Nicole has responded to the claims on her MySpace page, posting a statement that says, “Contrary to CNN’s false accusations, I did not check myself into an eating disorder rehab. I dont know why or how this rumor started, but i am home, in LA, and very happy. I do not have an eating disorder, and I don’t know how many times I have to say it. Ive repeated myself so many times, I feel like a broken record. Who ever started this rumor is evil and mean, but its not true. I am happy, and healthy, and living my life.”

Nick Lachey is said to be getting ready for his “What’s Left of Me” tour and girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo has a few tricks up her sleeve to keep her new love from forgetting about her. The MTV star plans to send him risqué photos of herself by email, a friend tells Celebrity Week. According to a source, the couple have a really “solid connection” in the bedroom and Vanessa doesn’t want Nick to forget that in a hurry.

“Vanessa is very jealous and can’t stand when other girls start flirting with Nick. She has seen the way girls react to him at parties. It doesn’t matter to some of them even if she’s standing right beside him.”

That’s why Vanessa, who first hooked up with Jessica Simpson’s famous ex back in March, also plans to pop in for a surprise visit during at least one stop on the “What’s Left of Me” tour.

“She’s thinking the drop-in could be good if it’s early rather than late in the (schedule), while the band is still getting themselves together,” her pal says. “And if he knows she could drop in at any time, he’ll have to be a good boy.”

Did Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie kiss and make up? The two were recently video taped in a friendly conversation. Paris apparently called Nicole to wish her a happy belated 25th birthday.

Nicole who normally isn’t paparazzi friendly was seen really playing it up for the photographers going as far as to put Paris on speaker for all to hear. Makes you wonder doesn’t it!

One day she’s rumoured to be getting married, the next day they’ve broken up. Lindsay known for changing her men faster than she changes her clothes has gotten a taste of her own medicine. According to sources close to the couple, it was Harry and not Lindsay who ended their relationship.

Harry broke up with Lindsay yesterday at Chateau Marmont after they had dinner on the courtyard patio,” a source tells People Magazine. “Nothing happened at dinner, but shortly afterward, he broke up with her.”

She was seen last night crying up a storm according to sources. The reason for the split is that Harry is sober and she’s too much drama. Even though she cut down on her partying, he just wanted to move into another direction.

“Lindsay did cut down on the partying, but with her it’s all relative. Harry is sober. It wasn’t the partying that broke them up. She’s young and a little bit immature. Harry’s more low-key and not into the same stuff she’s into.”

Too bad! We were beginning to like this couple. He seemed to be a good influence on Lindsay and although a rep for Lohan denies this story, we guess we’ll have to wait and see if anymore cozy pictures turn up.

Here we go again…Jessica Simpson’s father and manager is yet again cashing in on his daughters sucess. If rumours are to be believed, Joe wants to make Jessica’s Daisy Dukes into a restaurant chain.
