After months of speculation, heartache and a bitter ongoing paternity battle, photographer Larry Birkhead shows off his seven-month-old daughter in their first photoshoot together. In an interview, Birkhead defends Howard K Stern and takes a swipe at Anna’s pushy mother.
On his former adversary in the Anna Nicole Smith paternity case: “People blame him (Howard) a lot, but Anna had her own mind too. She had a choice and we were arguing and that’s what happens. I’m thankful that everyone can get along for Dannielynn. How could you not?”
“It seems unlikely, but he’s been a great help. He’s been with Dannielynn the last several months. He knows her likes and dislikes and things that could help me. He gives me credit when I’m doing good things and gives me tips on things I should do a little different.”
On sharing custody with Anna’s mother, Virgie Arthur: “It’s puzzling for her to display affection to me and then for the attorneys to say she’s going for custody and Larry was just a sperm donor and a one-night stand. Then they all come and shake my hand. You’ve gotta scratch your head and say, ’What’s going on here?’ I’m willing to listen to see what people want, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to agree. I hope I don’t have to fight for the baby.
On baby Dannielynn: “The doctors say she’s fine and has met all of her developmental milestones. She’s a really curious, alert baby.”

Sanjaya Malakar was attending Dodgers/Padres baseball game at Dodger Stadium in LA over the weekend when the crowd heartlessly booed him to tears.
The 17-year-old was minding his own business and apparently just enjoying a game with friends, until a camerman spotted him and beamed up onto the big screen. “He was just sitting there having a good time with his friends, just like a regular person, and when the Dodger camera noticed him the camera guy ran over and taped him,” says a witness.
“Sanjaya’s face pops up on the big screen right away. At first he smiled, he seemed to like the attention. But when the entire crowd at the stadium started to boo - and it was loud! - his smile faded a bit and his eyes looked sad. It’s like he was trying to keep a fake smile on, but you could tell he was crestfallen. He just kept waving and smiling for a few seconds more then his image went off the screen.”
Meanwhile, in a tasteless move and a poor attempt at humor, Maxim Men’s Magazine has named Sanjaya as it’s “Girl of the Day.” When does it stop being funny and just get a little sad?

It was only a matter of time before Heather Hills hit the ground on “Dancing with the Stars.”
In an embarrasing slip up, the 39-year-old, who has a prosthetic left leg, fell during a samba routine with partner Jonathan Roberts.
It happened in the final movement when Mills put her leg on his chest. After lifting her right leg she lost her balance and collapsed to the dance floor.

Britney Spears did some stand up comedy over the weekend. And though she didn’t pull a Michael Richards or a Don Imus, she whiffed fairly poorly on her attempt at humor. Brit launched into an apparently sarcastic impersonation of a Valley Girl that was oh so thinly disguised with ‘beat you with an umbrella rage, reports Us Weekly.
First, she demanded that the X17online videographer not ask her a single question, (“It’s my time,” she told shutterbug Sandro) who is a former Brazilian police officer this weekend in a bizarre recorded message. Britney took Sandro into a private room at a tanning salon to record her public message.
“And, like, I saw these magazines, and they said I was pregnant, and like it’s so true. Like, America, believe everything you read because like you’re smart and I’m stupid. Like for real. C’mon y’all,” Britney told X17online.
The mocking continued: “I just want to say that I’m just really, really shocked at like how nice our world is because it is just so nice. Like, oh my god. Like the other day like I was sitting there and I saw all these magazines and they said I was pregnant and like it’s so true. Like, America, believe everything you read because like you’re smart and I’m stupid.” It was the same with the reports of her drinking.
No one has reported Britney was pregnant since the last time she was pregnant and they were correct on that one. It was reported that her drinking drove her to rehab. It’s hard to figure what she is thinking with stunts like these.
