As many of you know, our girl Nicole Richie was sentenced to four days in jail on Friay (a month earlier and she would have had BFF Paris to keep her company). She also agreed to serve a three-year probation term, and must enroll in an alcohol education program. She was also fined $2,048.
Richie was given the option of serving her time in a paid city jail, which is seen as a cushier facility than a county jail. She was given no surrender date, but must complete her jail time before Sept. 28.
The future jailbird is pictured above with boyfriend Joel Madden. Unlike her friend Paris, Nic actually showed up 10 minutes early for her hearing.

Akon pops in for a chat on my Podcast this week - and plays his new song which is supposedly an apology to Gwen Stefani, but sounds more like a justification for his raunchy on-stage dance with a 14-year-old girl.
When sponosors disgusted by his behaviour pulled out from his and Gwen’s joint tour, Akon penned ‘Sorry, Blame It On Me’:
The lyrics include “I’m sorry for the hand that she was dealt / And for the embarrassment that she felt / She’s just a little young girl trying to have fun / But daddy should of never let her out that young.”

Usher,28, just cancelled his wedding to Tameka Foster, 37, which was supposed to happen Saturday and we BET it’s because The Enquirer just days ago, revealed Tameka’s SECRET CRIMINAL PAST! Tameka’s half sister Valencia thinks Usher had no idea who he was marrying. Tameka has a sordid past - she was involved with a married drug dealer when she was 14, and he was gunned down execution style. Tameka has been arrested for petty theft and welfare fraud and served 20 days in jail plus probation and community service. Usher replaced his mother /manager with Tameka, his former wardrobe stylist, who already has 3 kids and is expecting Usher’s baby in the fall. To top it off, Tameka refused to invite her own mother to the wedding because she lost her false teeth. We’re glad that lovesick Usher is having second thoughts about THIS relationship.

Ever the trainwreck, Britney Spears self-arranged interview with OK magazine went just as well as her infamous interview with Dateline last year! Never one to listen, Britney went against well wishers and decided to organise the interview and photo shoot herself leaving OK with a juicy tale to tell. “OK! magazine spent a heartbreaking day with Britney Spears and witnessed first-hand an emotional cry for help that will leave you shocked and sad. This week, the truth will be told” says OK!’s editor-in-Chief Sarah Ivens. According to witnesses:
- “Britney was in a shocking state. She was babbling incoherently, talking in baby talk. She didn’t make sense. “Britney appeared to be out of her mind. She went to the toilet and when she came back she couldn’t continue with the interview.”
- “Her eyes were rolling back, she was talking nonsense. She ate some food and vomited over her Gucci dress. She was a mess. She also seemed to be hallucinating, and kept saying strange and worrying things. The pictures are shocking and most of them are unusable.”
In the course of the session, Brit’s new puppy is said to have pooped everywhere. Brit then used a Chanel dressed to clean up the mess. When it came to Britney doing her business, she would leave the bathroom door wide open and was seen touching herself time and time again. Her erratic mood swings and paranoia that the ceiling was about to cave in on her were among other hightlights.
