Pete Doherty has entered rehab to sort out his drug addiction - and someone ought to help him with his fashion sense, too. Junkie Pete was wearing two trilby hats as he checked in for the $3,000 course.
The Babyshambles singer, 28, is carrying out a 4-day stint at the Detox-5 clinic in Harrogate, North Yorks, as part of a court order to avoid jail. And Pete seems to be settling in. He was later spotted sipping tea in the garden. ‘It’s going well,’ his spokesperson tells the Daily Mirror.

Nick Lachey decided to do a little posting of his own the other day. In a move to “to stay closer to all [his] fans,” Nick, for the first time ever posted the following statement on his official site:
Hello everyone! I’ve never been one to be especially savvy on the computer, but I thought I’d give this whole “blogging” thing a try. I hope this can be a way for me to stay closer to all of my fans who have so faithfully supported me for so long. I promise you all that this will be written by me and only me and will hopefully give everyone a little more insight into not only my career, but who I am as well. Let me start by saying thank you. I know it’s said all the time and sometimes feels a little predictable, but I really do thank all of you. The support I received on the last album and tour was incredible and a real dream come true for me. That album was a very important project for me both personally and professionally and you all made it happen.
So, what have I been doing since? Well, I’m back in the studio again working on the next project. Every time you go into the studio, there is degree of uncertainty to it. I never know how things are going to go, what I’m going to feel like writing about, what kind of musical direction things will take, etc. so far, I am incredibly excited about where this next project is going. There is an energy to the writing right now which is truly awesome. I can’t wait for you all to hear it. I’m hoping to have a new single out by the end of the year and an album out by early 2008. It feels like that’s a long way off, but it’ll be here before you know it. I also want to apologize to those of you who were planning on coming to some of the concerts that were scheduled for this July. Unfortunately, the concert in New Jersey was cancelled and so we decided to postpone the others until the new CD is done. I know a lot of you came and saw the last tour and I want to give you all an even better show the next time around.
Anyway, it’s going to be a very exciting fall and I can’t wait to get it started! Hope to see you all very soon.

IF this is how Lily Allen talks about her so-called friends I dread to think what she says about her enemies.
In a message to one of her MySpace friends Lily says hanging out with troubled widow,Courtney Love, made her want to check into rehab.
She wrote: “I am not bfs (best friends) w/ (with) C (Courtney) Love, one night with her made me realise why Kurt (Cobain) killed himself. I nearly checked into rehab.” Nice.
Lily and Courtney hung out in Los Angeles in April and partied together at Hyde nightclub.
Now Courtney’s just another celebrity for Lily to add to her ever-growing list of stars to avoid.

British singer Amy Winehouse got an uncontrollable itch - or was the zipper on her cutoffs stuck? Anyway she took a short fix-it break onstage at the music festival at Cornwall where she FINALLY turned up to perform. She missed a few shows - supposedly they interfered with her drinking schedule. Her wardrobe malfunction was temporary, and she unsteadily returned to her singing. Never a dull moment!
