Mum-to-be Nicole Riche and babydaddy Joel Madden have formed the Richie Madden Children’s Foundation, an organization to help support mothers in need. At a recent baby shower thrown by Paris Hilton, Richie asked her celebrity guests to bring unwanted cribs and strollers which she planned on distributing through the couples charity. No word on whether her wish was granted, but the Oz-themed baby shower pictures you see were sold with the proceeds going to charity.
Also, the couple did receive a number of gifts, but isn’t keeping ANY of them! According to People Magazine, she and Joel will donate all gifts received during her baby shower to 100 expectant families in need through the Richie Madden Foundation.
“It’s really sweet,” says shower guest Rashida Jones, of NBC’s The Office. “With all the swag these days, we’re given so much stuff it’s almost wasteful, and it’s kind of nice when we’re giving to each other to give to someone else.”

Britney Spears is a poster child of a complete trainwreck, but perhaps the troubled singer’s secret past can shed some light on why she is the way she is today.
US Weekly dug up some dirt on her childhood and turns out it wasn’t as rosy as Britney would have us believe.
Britney’s grandmother, who suffered from depression, supposedly shot herself in the chest with a shotgun at the grave of her new born son who had died eight years earlier, just three days after being born.
We sure hope US Weekly isn’t making this stuff up just to sell a few copies, but they don’t stop there. They go on to report that bankruptcy and some drug addicts in the family contributed to Brit’s dysfunctional childhood.
But what’s most shocking? Britney’s early image as a “happy, wholesome pop star” waiting for her wedding night was nothing more than a “PR blitz,” according Us insider Eric Ervin, who worked with Spears as a teenager. In fact, the magazine reports, Britney left the age of innocence long before her four-year relationship with Justin Timberlake, losing her virginity to then boyfriend, Reg Jones.

Amy Winehouse’s hedonistic lifestyle is clearly taking its toll on the singer as she lashed out at photographers on her way to visit her husband in jail.
Seen on her way to London’s HMP Pentonville prison to visit husband Blake Fielder-Civil who is being held there after being accused of conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, 24-year-old Amy looks as if she is struggling to keep it together.
Winehouse pulled a series of VERY strange facial expressions, seemingly unable to hide her contempt at the media circus following her every move.
The increasingly troubled singer, who has previously admitted to a heroin addiction and once collapsed after a drugs overdose, has been provoking concern lately after a string of incidents have caused her career to spiral into crisis.
Once hailed as the most important female artist of her generation, Amy has made a mess of her UK tour so far, performing a shambolic gig in Birmingham last week, where she forgot her words, fell over and swore at the audience. At a most recent gig, she arrived 40 minutes late on stage, rambled incoherently and disappeared off-stage repeatedly.
Winehouse told the audience at the Empress Ballroom in Blackpool that she dearly loved her husband who will be spending Christmas behind bars. She said she had missed his prison phone call that night and added: “He would have loved to have been here. I spoke to him last night but I can only call either before or after EastEnders.”

Despite many labelling Indian cinema as a poor man’s version of Hollywood, the cream of Hollywood’s A-list film stars have nothing but love to show for their Indian counterparts. “I admire the work. I admire the way it has supported the industry. It’s incredible,” says Sylvester Stallone. “I have never been in India. It would be a great adventure and I look forward to it,” he adds. In response to Shahrukh’s candid confession about not being good enough for Hollywood, the humble star claims HE’S not talented enough to be cast in a Bollywood film!
Meanwhile, balding star Bruce Willis also sang their praises on the sidelines of the launch of the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in LA. ” Bollywood is doing great. They call it Bollywood for a reason; it is a good luck charm,” Willis added.
It looks to us like most Indian actors could take a page from their book of humility instead of ever so often blowing their own trumpets!

Why is it most “bad” girls make strict mothers? Is it because they know every trick in the book and are afraid their daughters will turn out like them? Former “bad” girl, Madonna, makes sure her little girl remains a child at the premiere of “Fred Claus.” Sure, she may have a stylist of her own and is allowed lip gloss from time to time, but Madonna is hell bent on 11-year-old Lourdes keeping her natural look of a hairy upper lip and unibrow. Maybe, she gets picked on just a wee bit, but props to Madonna for not allowing Lourdes to wear 5 lbs of make-up and look like other little tramps her age!
