Whether you’ve caught yourself spelling G-L-A-M-O-R-O-U-S or learned that the definition of “Fergalicious” is “make them boys go loco,” the 32-year-old has had an amazing year and released an even more amazing CD, which is exactly why Blender chose her as its 2007 Woman of the Year. Whether you love her or hate her (”I’d like to meet the people who really hate me,” she says. “I bet we’d get along if we hung out) there’s no denying that Fergie’s making the music that people want to shake their humps to.

On her overly sexual persona:

Britney Spears‘ 16-year-old sister Jamie Lynn Spears is pregnant.

Nickelodeon, which carries her TV show Zoey 101, said in a statement: “We respect Jamie Lynn’s decision to take responsibility in this sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern right now is for Jamie Lynn’s well being.”

Spears and her mother confirmed the pregnancy to OK! magazine, saying she was 12 weeks along and the father is Jamie Lynn’s longtime boyfriend Casey Aldridge. Aldridge’s mother confirmed it to TMZ.

“It was a shock for both of us, so unexpected,” Jamie Lynn told OK!, according to the Associated Press. “I was in complete and total shock and so was he.”

Spears told the magazine that after confirming the pregnancy with a home test and a subsequent doctor’s visit, she told only one friend – then waited two weeks before telling anybody else, including her parents.

“I needed to work out what I would do for myself before I let anyone’s opinion affect my decision,” she told the magazine. “Then I told my parents and my friends. I was scared, but I had to do what was right for me.”

Breaking the News to Her Parents

She told her parents just before Thanksgiving.

“I didn’t believe it because Jamie Lynn’s always been so conscientious,” her mother, Lynne Spears, told OK!. “She’s never late for her curfew. I was in shock. I mean, this is my 16-year-old baby.”

Aldridge’s mother, Joyce Aldridge, told TMZ she was “aware of the recent interview regarding her and being pregnant” and that “we are in agreement with everything that was said by Jamie Lynn.”

“Everything is fine,” Joyce Aldridge added.

Spears, a high school junior who is 10 years younger than Britney, had until now escaped much of the attention about her personal life that has surrounded her sister.

Jamie Lynn stars as a schoolgirl at the fictitious Pacific Coast Academy in Zoey 101, finishing its third season next month as one of Nickelodeon’s highest-rated shows.

A rep for Spears was not immediately available for comment.

Britney Spears has used the new video for her single Piece of Me to hit back at the hoards of paparazzi that trail her every move.

In the clip the screwed up pop star, who wears low rise jeans, a sequinned bra and tiny jacket, performs a loosely choreographed dance routine. Ugh! And here we thought she’d try harder after her VMA disaster…

When Ike Turner passed away this week, the NY Post ran a headline saying that Ike had beaten Tina Turner to death.  Literally, Ike did die before Tina as he passed away at age 76 on Wednesday.  The actual headline on the article was “Ike Beats Tina to Death.”  Many couldn’t believe they printed it.

Gawker titled an item this way on the website, “Ike ‘Beats’ Tina” Is Post’s Classiest Headline Ever.”  It is not known what clever headline writer put this header up but many have thought it was amusing while others found it in poor taste.

One poster had this, “Just the sort of tasteless headline I’d expect from that piece of trash.”  Another wasn’t quite so hard on the paper.  Another writes, “So so wrong. But yet so right in so many ways. Oh the Post….you slay me…”

For her part, Tina isn’t saying much. Her representative issued a statement to TMZ that read: “Tina is aware that Ike passed away earlier today. She has not had any contact with him in 35 years. No further comment will be made.”

Latin heartthrob Ricky Martin is facing fresh speculation over his sexuality after his good friend and skin care specialist Ole Henriksen ‘outed’ the star in a recent magazine interview.

Henriksen was being interviewed by gay Swedish magazine Salonk when he made the comment about Livin’ La Vida Loca’s sexual preference.

He’s quoted as saying, “He (Martin) is a bit more open about it (his homosexuality) these days than he used to be… I don’t know if he has a boyfriend.”

And when asked who he’d choose to spend a romantic holiday with, Henriksen replied, “I’d go for Stig Tofting (ex Danish soccer player), but since he’s straight, I’d say my client Ricky Martin.”
