Christina Aguilera’s Rock the Vote PSA has been released (Watch above).
“Being a new mother, it was really important for me to get excited about this election,” she told Larry King last month.
This election “is such one of change and new development for our country and for the future of my son,” she added. “I want the best possibilities for him.”
Christina— who would not reveal which candidate she supported — said she registered to vote “as soon as I could” but admitted she didn’t “exercise that right until the last election.
“As a woman, that’s embarrassing that it took [me] so long [to vote] because we weren’t always given that right,” she said.

Don’t panic parents, she isn’t headed for a Jamie Lynn Spears or Juno pregnancy just yet. Miley Cyrus says she is ready for “Sex and the City” the tween version. The Disney bad girl is everywhere this week and has even been spotted hanging out in Malibu in a blonde wig as Hannah Montana with Lucas Till. But is she really serious about a tween “Sex and the City?”
After all of her racy pictures that have leaked out and have been published on the World Wide Web showing her in various poses and showing lots of skin is this really the direction the young starlet should turn? She believes the time is right, a report from Us Weekly magazine suggests, but she does say that in real life she is waiting for sex.
“I’d love to do a younger, cleaner version of Sex and the City,” Miley Cyrus, 15, tells TV Guide. Is she kidding, and what is this fifteen-year old girl doing watching “Sex and the City?” This week alone a whole new batch of photos have hit and one shows Miley in the shower with a wet t-shirt on that was taken by a cell phone camera and leaked online.
She believes that the project of a cleaned up tween version of the SATC franchise will work and she also believes that after all of the controversies and wild photos she can still be looked up to by very young girls. “I want to be a positive role model,” she adds.

Following a series of false reports, it’s been confirmed that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt did, indeed, welcome twins into the world on Saturday night in France.
Dr. Michael Sussman, who delivered Knox and Vivienne, said the Caesarean section procedure went perfectly, as the actress was awake and excited throughout.
“It was an epidural, so [Angelina] was awake and speaking and laughing. They were happy,” said Sussmann, adding that Pitt was more than up to the task of cutting the children’s umbilical chords. “He was perfectly calm, totally determined, very pleased to be at the birth of his children, very moved and very emotional.”
Meanwhile, Mayor Christian Estrosi of Nice, France, took advantage of the opportunity to try and increase tourism to his city. He showed off Knox Leon’s birth certificate outside the Fondation Lenval hospital, where Knox and sister Vivienne Marcheline were born.
“On behalf of the inhabitants of Nice, I congratulate the happy parents, the most famous couple in the world, who have chosen our city for this happy event,” Estrosi said. “We are truly honored and thankful to have them here.”

“Maddie is a name that Casey thought of, and I really liked it. Briann was because, a week and a half before she was born, one of Casey’s cousins, who he was really close with, passed. He was in a car accident. His name was Brian. She’s also named after my older brother, Bryan Spears. We just added another “N” to it and made her Maddie Briann.” - Jamie Lynn on picking her baby girl’s name.

God bless America - land of beauty pageant contestants who can’t walk for sh*t. Yes, it’s time to add falling on your ass to our long list of national traditions, alongside burgers, barbecues and baseball. In last night’s Miss Universe pageant in Vietnam, Miss USA Crystle Stewart of Texas secured a spot in the Top Ten and then blew it when she tumbled during some dress-y walk. Her recovery attempt of cheering for herself and then executing a crushing death stare at the judges did nothing for her chances, and she lost to some hot chick from Venezuela. This is the second time a Miss USA has taken a tumble in the Miss Universe competition - last year’s finalist made it to the Top 5, even after a spill in the evening gown competition. At least our American losers can forever bond over their sore asses.
