The Anna Nicole Smith Saga: Custody Of Dannielynn

Larry Birkhead is the official, much liked, father of Dannielynn Hope. But he has still the issue of custody to settle with the mother of Anna Nicole, Virgie Arthur.
It was to be settled yesterday, but much to everyone’s amazement Howard K. Stern informed the press that custody was not granted to Larry. If it were up to him, however,”the formal order in terms of giving Larry full custody would have occured.”
Larry has time and time again said that joint custody is not an option. “It would imply that I’m unfit as a parent, which I’m not,” he said.
According to reports, both Birkhead and Arthur will meet privately today to discuss the matter. Arthurs lawyer, John O’Quinn, told reporters that the two will try to hammer out a custody solution that the court will ultimately “like and approve.”

I think that Virgie Arthur s/n have any rights at all to see Dannielynn, Anna did not want her around. Why go against how Anna felt. This whole thing would not be discussed if she was still alive. Larry will make a great dad and his family is now Dannielynn’s family. Virgie never came around and did nothing for Anna except bring her down. Stay away Virgie. Just do the best for Dannielynn, who has no mother now.

there is something with virgie she’s just looking for some money she was never around and why would she care i used to watch the anna nicole show and you know she never said a word about her mother it was like she was dead maybe it should stay that way dannielynn’s dad is larry i believe he will do fine job

This whole thing is so sad. Larry Birkhead had done nothing but exploit the heck out of that poor baby. Now I see why Anna felt the need to not just keep her baby away from her grandmother, but also her father.
