Shakira-Zahara, it’s all the same to Jon Voight. At the fourth annual Bafta Tea Party (BAFTA is the Oscars for Brits), Angelina’s estranged father was talking with a reporter on the red carpet when he decided to send out birthday wishes to Maddox. He pulled that off, but then things took an ugly turn. Voight also decided to send a shout out to his granddaughters Shiloh and Shakira. Yes, Shakira. The correct name — Zahara! The reporter quickly corrected him, but he yet again failed to register the tot’s name pronouncing it Shahara - a move doubtful to impress Angie.
Voight: "Maddox just had a birthday. Happy birthday, Maddox! 5 years old–it’s a big one! You’re getting to be a young man, and I send my love to you. And send my love to…uh…Shakira…and…Shahira… [To reporter] Is it Shakira or Shahira?"
Reporter: "Zahara."
Voight: "Shahara! Shahara!"

Hey at least he tried!!! It’s been 4 years…….get over it!!! Those kids are going to ask you one day why you kept them away from him and you can either spill your sad story , which has nothing to do with the kids , or you can just swallow your pride and give him a chance to be a better grandfather then he was a father

I mean, how can we hold anything against Jon Voight for forgetting the names of kids that he’s never spent time with????
This is actually quite funny…Jon forgetting Zahara’s name! But I think that he could have easily smoothed this one over by saying, “Oh Silly [to the reporter]! I KNOW that her name is Zahara! I just wanted to see if YOU knew her name!Also, Shahara is my pet name for her!â€
But wait! Even if this man had never spent one day of “quality†time with Maddox, Zahara or Shiloh, HOW could he not know the name of ALL of Angelina’s children? I believe that every person in the free world and abroad knows all of these children’s names! Has he been living under a rock for the past few months????

Hey CC!!! I think if they were named a “normal name” (if celebrities even do that anymore) it may be a little easier for a 60 year old something to remember …I just feel bad for those kids……they have family and are kept from it because of spite and selfishness…..that is not right……if you don’t like your parent , so be it , she probably has good reason (and not just the ones the public know of) but the only ones who are going to suffer are those children….Sad….really sad

That is so, so, so true! Hey! My aunt teaches elementary school and she said that there was a kid there whose name was Mylanta. Mylanta? Okay, like I’d really want my kid to be teased that they are named after an antacid!!! (LOL)
Back to celeb crazy names though….
Can you believe that some actress and her husband (I think that it may be Rosanna Arquette, I think…) named their son Pilot Inspecktor!!! What?!??!!?!? If I were a kid in Kindergarten, I’d probably beat up a kid who had that name too! Just too ridiculous!
And you know tabloid freak [laughing just typing your name!], I think that Angelina is EXTREMELY hypocrital! Okay. She’s a Goodwill Ambassador and their mission is to extend love, peace, goodwill, and kindness to ALL humanity. Now, she can do this for folks she doesn’t know but can’t extend this same kindness of her father…by which she would be no where if it weren’t for him! And I feel sorry for those kids too. I mean, let’s face it. Angelina and Brad will part. And although I feel that Brad will remain a presence in their lives, it won’t be the same for them now that they’ve gotten used to living in the same house with him.

I think if Angelina doesn’t want to spend anytime with him.. Atleast let Brad take the kids to go see him. That’s if Angelina didn’t brainwash in into hating him too.

Other than the fact that Brad was having an affair AND impregnated Angelina WHILE STILL married, this is yet another reason why I dislike him! And as far as your “brainwashing” theory goes, if Brad is ALLOWING Angelina to control him, it’s because he wants to be controlled! What is he now, 42 or 43? Brad is a bonafide wuss and this is WHY Angelina will dump him…because it’s impossible for any woman to stick with a man that she can’t even respect!! The only thing that I have to say about this is that karma is a you know what and Brad had better be ready! Angelina too with all of her fake do-gooder activities!
