Tired of living in Beyoncé’s shadow 364 days of the year, Solange Knowles went to extremes to make sure she owned the spotlight at her birthday bash. While she donned a loud, orange mini-dress, Beyoncé and mom Tina Knowles conservatively wore black wrap dresses. If the family dress code weren’t enough, Solange got the hottest DJ in town, Samantha Ronson, to work the event, posing with her and (rumored) girlfriend Lindsay Lohan.

After six years of dating, Beyonce and Jay-Z finally got married in NYC on Friday, a friend of the couple confirmed to People magazine.
Though there is no official confirmation, the friend says, “It happened earlier this evening. Jay wanted it to be a really private affair – close friends and family.”
The ceremony was followed by a lavish party at the rapper’s Tribeca apartment that drew Beyoncé’s mother Tina Knowles, her father/manager Mathew, her sister Solange, her Destiny’s Child mates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, and the couple’s friend Gwyneth Paltrow.

Bootylicious babe Beyonce waves to the media upon arriving in Manila on Tuesday afternoon.
Her one night Manila tour is part of her Asian tour, where she will be visiting Thailand and Malaysia.
The RnB diva arrived on a private chartered jet along with her 70-member entourage. Before the star set foot in the country, a flight attendant hurried ahead to place an arrangement of flowers at the bottom of the stairs and lay a blue carpet at the landing. A few minutes later, with a bodyguard ahead of her, Beyonce stepped down in style to the sound of cheers and screams.
It’s not everyday you see a casual looking Beyonce, and so obviously we had to share these pictures of her looking exceptionally ordinary in NYC. We don’t know about you, but we’d love to see more of this fresh faced woman who doesn’t have to wear 10 lbs of make-up to look beautiful!
