“I think I am past needing celebrity. I don’t want to feel the void I see in a lot of celebrities - the unhappiness underneath the smile. Don’t you think it’s scary that you rarely meet celebrities who are normal?. I do normal things, walk in the park. I don’t want to be off on my own diva planet. I want to be on Earth. I want to be normal.” -Beyonce on how she doesn’t let stardom go to her head.

Has
Beyonce been lying about her age throughout her career?? The sexy starlet’s offical bio gives her birthdate as September 4, 1981, which would make her 25. But is she really a much older woman underneath all that make-up? MediaTakeOut seems to think so!
They claim to have received hundreds of emails from people asking them to confirm Beyonce’s true age. MediaTakeOut reports:
In an attempt to find the truth, we spoke with dozens of insiders - all of whom believed that Beyonce was being truthful about her age.
But yesterday MediaTakeOut.com received a tip that proved to be explosive. The tipster, who claimed to work for the Texas Department of Health, faxed over what appears to be Beyonce’s official birth records. The document (a portion of which is below) shows that a Beyonce Giselle Knowles was born to a Mathew Knowles and Celestine Ann Beyonce on September 4th, 1974. If this document is accurate, that would mean that Beyonce is actually 32 years old.

The World Music Awards took place in London last night for the first time in 18 years with party animal Lindsay Lohan as the host. Lindsay was barracked every time she set foot on stage and was forced to abandon her role as host when she fell down the stairs. According to a witness; “Lindsay was devastated, she came off stage and fell, and so she had to give up. It looked incredibly painful.”

Paris Hilton came the closest she’ll ever get to an award as she accepted one on Madonna’s behalf. The material Mom was named the World’s Best Pop Artist, beating nominees Robbie Williams and Justin Timberlake.

Rihanna performed her international hit, ”Unfaithful” in a gorgeous strapless purple gown. As for hard feelings towards her rumored rival Beyonce, who snatched Best R&B Artist from her, she humbly says: “I was just on tour with Jay Z and [Beyonce] came along…we saw each other almost every night. She was a very big influence to me,” Rihanna explains, “since I was a little girl.”

Canadian singer Nelly Furtado, who walked away empty handed at the MTV Europe Music Awards, ended up taking home the award for World’s Best Pop/Rock Artist for her song Maneater.

Beyonce looked absolutely beautiful as she accepted her award for Best R&B artist. The Bootylicious singer was also there to present MJ with the Diamond Award, an honour for artists who have sold more than 100 million records. Introducing MJ she said: ” Tonight we are celebrating 25 years of “Thriller”. If it wasn’t for Michael Jackson I would never have ever performed. I love you, we all love you.”

“[Beyonce] is a b*tch! I only hope she gets bit on the ass by whatever animal she wears. Some of the practices are so cruel and as a celebrity you have a responsibility to think about the message you’re sending out by wearing fur. People will think it’s ok or cool, but it’s not.”- Animal rights supporter Pink on the fur-lovin’ Beyonce

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, Beyonce Knowles admits that she doesn’t wake up looking fabulous and that it takes an entire army for her to look the way she does.
She says; “I am very conscious of how I look and my image and how I am with people.”
“I have a team and we’ve been working together since I was 15, so every show, every earring, every shade of eye shadow is all something that comes from me and my team.”
She also admits that she refuses to step out of the house without a full examination by her team.
“I’m very much a perfectionist, and even before I was a pop star, or celebrity or whatever you want to call whatever I am, I was always that way. Always!”
