How in the world did these two get together! They have a passionate love of publicity in common, so it makes sense that this pair would try to stir up some more attention. We’re guessing that Kathy Griffin suggested they get together - it will provide some tasty fodder for her TV show “My Life on the D-List.” However, at this point, Britney’s ex boyfriend Adnan is more of a D-lister than Kathy is. The pair cruised to Rodeo Drive in his convertible where they had lunch and shopped at Victoria’s Secret. Don’t think for a minute that Kathy gave up her billionaire boyfriend Steve Wozniak for Adnan.

We will give Star Magazine this much: It’s been a slow couple of months for those of us who thrive on Britney Spears news and gossip. That being said, this celebrity news magazine and others like it are stooping to new lows and going to new extremes to fill a sudden Spears void.
They claim Britney Spears and Kevin Federline had a “secret meeting” during Easter weekend. At this time, they decided to run away Maui.
K-Fed, who was in Las Vegas hosting his own birthday party that weekend while Britney was in L.A., has already denied this via his rep.
It gets better. Backing up the made-up story is a photo of Britney and Kevin on a beach, enjoying a relaxing getaway … on their honeymoon in 2004.
What’s more amazing? This isn’t even the worst Britney Spears celebrity gossip reporting job of the week! That honor belongs to the great OK! Magazine, which features a Britney Spears photo from 2003 to bolster its cover story.
Proving that they’re really grasping at straws, a Star “source” also claims Brit bought K-Fed a $138,000 diamond watch during their fake tropical jaunt.
Yeah, right. We had already figured out that this whole Spederline reuniting story was about as real as Heidi Montag’s rack, but come on now, Star. At least if you had written that Britney bought the FedEx man a $25 Casio, we might have believed it and kept reading … at least for a minute or two.

Madonna says the media needs to “step off” Britney Spears.
“For real… Let’s go save her,” she told the Yo on E! satellite radio show.
Madonna, 49, said 11-year-old daughter Lourdes “gets the drift of what’s going on, and I think she feels very protective of Britney.”
On Thursday, Madonna said she enjoys listening to Spears‘ Blackout album while exercising. The two singers famously locked lips on the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards and collaborated on the song “Me Against the Music.”

Britney Spears last night made a comeback on American TV. She played a love-struck receptionist in the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.Most reviews posted on US websites have been glowing.
One on America TV institution TV Guide said: “I have to say this episode definitely exceeded my expectations. I think Britney played awkward neurotic quite well.”
While another wrote: “She looked like the Britney we used to know. Long blonde hair and great make-up. She was funny too.”
Media consultant Robbie Vorhaus said: “Her guest appearance will be remembered as the beginning of the return of Britney.”
The sitcom’s executive producer, Carter Bays, told USA Today: “There were no diva moments. She’s a professional.”
The life of 26-year-old Britney has been dogged by months of erratic behaviour, drug and alcohol abuse, and child custody dispute.

Britney Spears as she’s never appeared before – as a receptionist named Abby.
CBS has released photos of the singer – in a ponytail wearing a blue shirt, black heels, glasses and a secretary-style skirt – from her guest-role as Abby on How I Met Your Mother.
Spears spent last week shooting scenes in which she plays Abby on the March 24 episode.
“Working at How I Met Your Mother has been so terrific,” Spears said Thursday. “Everyone, including the cast, the crew and the producers, has been wonderful and Abby is such a fun girl to play. I’m having a blast!”
