Doing her best to stay out of the spotlight after revealing boyfriend Casey Aldridge got her pregnant, Jamie Lynn Spears, 16, is moving on.

Step #1 - passing her GED and thinking about college! Go, Jamie Lynn!

The Zoey 101 star passed her GED - which stands for Good Enough Diploma, as Chris Rock says - scoring particularly well on reading comprehension.

Those skills didn’t help Jamie Lynn Spears when it came to reading the outside of that box of condoms, but hey, better late than never, right?

“She’s already got her diploma,” according to the friend. “Everybody is so supportive of her. She wants to take her ACT. She’s not wasting any time. People don’t know her. When Jamie Lynn gets something in her head, she’ll make it happen.”

Just like with makin’ that baby. Yee-haw!

The younger sister of Britney Spears was recently seen in Hammond, La., carrying a GED book. She was accompanied by her mother, Lynne Spears, outside a building that houses the Tangipahoa Parish School System Adult Education Center, which is a GED preparation site in their neck of the woods. A family affair, y’all!

The same building is also home to the area’s Title I Parent Center, which teaches parents how to help their children develop learning skills.

Us Weekly reports that Jamie Lynn Spears has expressed interest in attending her home state’s largest college, Louisiana State University.

Britney Spears will be allowed to visit her children “soon, very soon,” after lawyers hammered out a structured visitation arrangement.

Kevin Federline’s attorney, Mark Vincent Kaplan, confirmed Friday that he and his partner Jim Simon spent two days working with Spears’ legal team.

We don’t know exactly when, but Jayden James, 1, and Sean Preston, 2, will once again enjoy “participation of their mother in their lives.”

“We’re pleased that … the process of reinstating the children’s mother as a participant in their lives can commence,” Mark Vincent Kaplan said.

The kids can visit with Britney, provided her dad, Jamie Spears, and a psychiatrist are present. There are other strings attached, but at a minimum, Jamie and the shrink are requirements agreed upon by the attorneys.

Both sides are impressed that Jamie Spears has stabilized Britney - weeding out the trash like Sam Lutfi - and calming the whirlwind surrounding her.

That’s a core reason why a deal was struck, as K-Fed never wanted to keep the boys away from her. It was only for their own safety before she got help.

After lying low for sometime, Britney resurfaced on Friday for a shopping spree in LA.

Meanwhile, as far as her legal matters are concerned, newly released court documents reveal that the trust where Britney Spears keeps most of her estimated $100 million fortune is out of her hands – and under the control of her brother and a lawyer. And for 30-year-old Bryan Spears, that means keeping tabs on everything from cash to pay for medicine to money for her Starbucks runs.

“This is nothing new,” says Bryan. “This was a decision made some time ago and signed off on by Britney, before she was married to Kevin, before she had kids. As with anyone with a large trust, trustees were named. This is nothing new.”

In very disappointing news, Britney Spears has just been released from  the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center. Doctor’s hands were tied as she showed no signs of danger to herself or others. Instead of heading home, she was spotted driving around in LA snapping pics of the paps with her cell phone!

As mentioned earlier, a temporary restraining order forbids Sam Lufti from getting with 250 years of Britney, her homes and her family’s homes. Now Britney’s mom, Lynne Spears revealed just why the family is so against the man who was constantly pictured with Brit. According to Lynne:

• Lufti was drugging the troubled mom. “Sam told Jackie and me that he grinds up Britney’s pills, which were on the counter and included Risperdol and Seroquel,” Lynne says. “He told us that he puts them in her food and that was the reason she had been quiet for the last three days,” Lynne continues. “She had been sleeping. He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could give her drugs to heal her brain.” He’s believed to have said “that if he weren’t in the house to give Britney her medicine, she would kill herself. Then he said to me, ‘If you try to get rid of me, she’ll be dead and I’ll piss on her grave.”
• Lutfi also demanded that Lynne do what he ordered. “I’m the one who spends 24/7 with your daughter,” Lynne quoted him as saying. “I sleep in cars outside her house so she can’t leave.” He then allegedly told Lynne: “You people throw everyone under the bus. If you don’t listen to me I’m going to make your name s— in the papers.”
• Spears was recently seen in tears after a bitter argument with Lufti. According to Lynne, “Sam had told Britney that she was an unfit mother, a piece of trash and a whore, that she cares more about [paparazzo] Adnan [Ghalib], her current boyfriend, than she cares about her kids, and that she does not deserve the kids.”Lynne says her daughter was acting strangely. “Britney … became very agitated and could not stop moving,” says Lynne. “She cleaned the house. She changed her clothes many times. She also changed her three dogs’ clothes many times. Britney spoke to me in a tone and with the level of understanding of a very young girl. Britney then picked up a bottle of pills and read part of the label and asked us, ‘What does insomnia mean?’ Sam told her the pills will help her stay awake.”

 Lutfi has had two restraining order against him in the past for violent verbal and physical attacks and has gone by multiple aliases, including Osama N. Lutti and Osamah N. Lutfi.
