Christina Aguilera made her first public appearance since the birth of her son, Max Liron, to promote the release of her new DVD set Back to Basics: Live and Down Under in LA yesterday. The new mom revealed she is “going a little stir crazy” at home even though she describes motherhood as “an incredible thing.” “Every week something new happens… it’s constant changing and he’s constantly changing and doing different things and stinky things,” she says with a smile on her face.

A deal between a U.S publication and Christina Aguilera over exclusive photos of her new baby has reportedly fallen through.
Insiders say that negotiations with OK! over rights to the first pictures of little Max Liron Bratman ground to a halt when the mag couldn’t guarantee a full-cover photo of Christina and her tot.
An industry source tells MSNBC: “Christina has an inflated sense of her own value and seems to expect an extortionate amount of money for these baby pictures.
“I’m not sure OK! or much of the industry thinks is a dollar figure that’s worth it. … She hasn’t proven to be a real seller.”
It’s claimed that OK! wasn’t prepared to meet Christina’s demands because the singer has a history of under-performing on newsstands.
According to the source: “The OK! wedding cover didn’t sell as well as they hoped, and even her recent Marie Claire cover underperformed, all things considered.”

We are so thrilled for Christina and Jordan! The happy couple welcomed a baby boy on Saturday at 10:05 p.m. “Christina and Jordan are proud to announce the birth of their son Max Liron Bratman. He is a beautiful, healthy baby boy!” says a rep for the couple. “Mom is resting and doing well!,” he adds.
Despite various media reports that Aguilera had her baby on Friday, Max – 6 lbs., 2 oz. and 20.5 inches – arrived late on Saturday night in L.A 
Congratulations!! We love that it’s a normal name!

We’re on baby overload! According to E! Online, Christina and Jordan have welcomed their first child. Apparently they announced the birth in a text message to friends and family: “Baby has arrived. Mom and dad are doing well!” But per Us Weekly, “She is still pregnant,” a rep for the singer, added “she is not in labor.” Stay tuned!

Christina Aguilera is also in labor at the moment at the same hospital as Nicole Richie!! She checked into Cedars hospital yesterday for a scheduled c-section, but hasn’t given birth yet. Stay tuned for all the happy news!
