Motherhood has been wonderful to Gwen Stefani, who is constantly seen smiling from ear to ear with her adorable tot, and now the singer is ready for round two!
The glowing mom who found out she was expecting half way through her US tour, will start trying for another lamb when she finishes her next run. “I’m going to try and enjoy this year of touring and then hopefully get pregnant again” she says. “I’m on repeat. I just want to make music and babies!”
However, Gwen who balances the role of mom and rock chick to perfection, admits it hasn’t always been easy. “I was surprised how much I didn’t enjoy pregnancy. Having something growing in your stomach feels so unnatural. Your body’s changing and you can’t control it. You just feel gross. “I was having to get up on stage, wearing bathing suits, looking fat. Nobody knew I was pregnant, except me. They were constantly having to add extra panels to my costumes. To be honest, I was feeling pretty bad about myself.”

Singer turned fashion designer turned full time mom, Gwen Stefani who’s constantly pictured with her son (unlike a certain someone we know) spoke to UK Elle magazine about losing her baby weight, being married to a rock star and perhaps a future girlfriend for her son!
On being married to Gavin Rossdale: ”There are negatives and positives, but for the most part, it works. He can tell me about things going well or badly and I can totally relate to that. We were very lucky to find each other and we have this ongoing crazy love affair, with its peaks and valleys, like everyone else’s… Having Kingston has been the most romantic thing to have happened to us.”
On her public pregnancy: "It was weird being pregnant in a fishbowl situation. Especially on days when you feel really fat and disgusting and not cute. Pregnancy was challenging in a way I didn’t expect. I was on tour and I was so sick. It was like PMS times a million.”
On getting her body back: ”There aren’t any tricks, it’s simple math: you put this much food in, you burn that much working out. I gave myself three months - but if I didn’t have an album coming out, there’s no way I would have gotten back into shape in that time. I worked out with my trainer five days a week, with weekends off. I would really recommend doing weights. I’m not into yoga and pilates - they don’t work for me and I don’t have the patience. I’m more like a man. I like going to the gym and lifting weights or doing a little boxing.”
On Kingston and Shiloh’s playdate: ”Yeah! They were like two little blobs when they met. Maybe they’ll get married when they grow up? That’d be cute!”

Gwen Stefani! Her second solo album “
The Sweet Escape” is supposed to be hitting stores by December 5, 2006. But what can we expect from the new album? “The Sweet Escape, is quite different from my first. I started recording while I was pregnant with my son, Kingston, and it’s evolved over this past year. This album is more dance than retro,” Gwen explains.
The Neptunes, Akon, Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley, Nellee Hooper, Swizz Beats, and the Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart are among the contributors on the record, as is No Doubt’s (and Gwen’s ex-boyfriend) Tony Kanal.

Awwwww!! Now, isn’t this just the cutest thing!!! It’s little Kingston, the son of Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale. Some of us here think that he looks just like his foxy daddy, but others feel that he looks like his lovely mom. Others say Kingston looks like both! Some even say it’s too hard to tell at this point! So you tell us, guys! Who does Kingston look more like to you: Gavin or Gwen? And while you’re at it, let us know whether you think Kingston or Shiloh is cuter! [We would put the fictious Baby Suri in the running, but it’s kinda hard to compare an invisible baby to two very adorable visible ones]!
