At first glance, this picture looked to us like Hilary Duff making peace with Joel Madden. It turns out, though, Hilary isn’t quite ready to forgive as the man pictured above is not Joel, but her new boyfriend who bares an eerie resemblance to Joel. Not quite ready to move on, are we? Hilary can at least take comfort in the fact that her Canadian hockeyplayer can not only shoot a puck and spit, but he comes with quite a wad of cash — as heir to the Brick Warehouse fortune.
There’s a new way of getting revenge on an ex boyfriend. Sure, you could flatten the tires to his car, scratch his car with your keys, or you could take a cue from today’s celebs and let the world know just what you think of him and his new girlfriend while making a couple of million along the way.
It did wonders for Nick Lachey when he used his break-up with Jessica as inspiration for his 2006 hit album What’s Left of Me. And now, Hilary Duff is the newest starlet to be following what Ballz dubbed as “the break-up album trend.” In the title track of “Dignity”, the bitter blonde appears to attack ex-lover Joel Madden and his girlfriend Nicole Richie.
The lyrics read: “Where’s your dignity? I think you lost it in the Hollywood Hills. Can’t buy respect but you can pick up that bill. Always with Mr. Right, but then you have a fight. Run into your friend’s ex, he’s happy to be your next. Tomorrow’s paper’s coming out so kiss him fast, watch the cameras flash.”
She goes on to sing: “She lets you think that you found her first. That’s how she works her sick and twisted gypsy curse. Talks with a grin ’cause she’s got no shame. Enjoy the fame, bringing down the family name.”

The rumor mill is spinning that Joel Madden dumped Hilary Duff because she wouldn’t put out. Hilary MAY BE the only starlet who has stayed true to her word of celibacy before marriage while Joel is waiting around to get a little action. He realized that wasn’t going to happen with Hilary until he put a wedding ring on her finger, and so he moved on to the next best thing: Nicole Richie!The two are said to be dating and while it seems that Joel is just looking to have a good time, Richie may be getting a little too serious. She was caught leaving his home earlier this week and she even had him listed as her “emergency contact person” on her booking papers following her DUI arrest on Monday.
