If Jessica Simpson had plans to marry her new beau Tony Romo anytime soon, her dreams have been dashed by the sports star himself.
Having been practically inseparable for months, rumours that the singer/actress is to marry her new man Romo have been thrown around frequently.
Even the American footballer’s ex Sophia Bush has been speculating that they will soon be man and wife.
However, the Dallas Cowboys quarterback has denied any possible union for the time being, telling People: “It’s just rumours. That’s what people say.
“I’m sure I’ll get married one day. I don’t know when.”

Ashlee Simpson has been flashing bling on her ring finger for a while now.
On Wednesday, she confirmed it’s a promise ring from her Fall Out Boy beau Pete Wentz.
“It just means that he hasn’t asked my dad yet…” she explained on Fuse TV’s The Sauce while promoting her upcoming album Bittersweet World.
Simpson also set the record straight on another issue: “No, I’m not pregnant,” she declared.
Though Ashlee and Pete may not be walking down the aisle, her older sis Jessica — who heads to Kuwait to perform for the troops next month — may be.
A close pal of her beau Tony Romo recently told Us Weekly, “I think they’re going to get married.”

Nick Lachey has given his blessing to ex Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend Tony Romo.
“I wish her nothing but happiness,” says Nick. ”If she’s found that… good for her.”
Amid talk that Jess may be returning to the small screen with a CMT special, Nick understands her motives.
“I did a show a show around the making of my last record,” he says. “It was kind of a documentary that I did with MTV about making a record… that is an idea that I had and I thought it was a good one, so I can certainly see where she’s coming from with that.”
But Nick has ruled out a return to the reality genre that brought him and Jessica notoriety with MTV’s Newlyweds.
“Reality TV is not on my radar,” he said. “You learn lessons in life, and then you have a responsibility to yourself to learn from those lessons.”
When asked if he would consider a reality series with girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, he responded, “No, no, no, no. Never. Never.”

We’re so used to seeing Jessica Simpson out and about alone that it’s nice to see her smiling in the company of a man. After spending a quiet weekend in Mexico, the happy couple was all smiles for cameras in the tropical paradise of Hawaii.
We’re actually rooting for this couple and Tony Romo seems to have made quite an impression on the Simpson clan. “I love him!” gushed Ashlee Simpson. When asked if she is happy for Jess, she replied, “Absolutely happy. He is really cool,” as Ashlee’s boyfriend, Pete Wentz chimed in: “He is a cool dude.”
