Nick Lachey has given his blessing to ex Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend Tony Romo.
“I wish her nothing but happiness,” says Nick. ”If she’s found that… good for her.”
Amid talk that Jess may be returning to the small screen with a CMT special, Nick understands her motives.
“I did a show a show around the making of my last record,” he says. “It was kind of a documentary that I did with MTV about making a record… that is an idea that I had and I thought it was a good one, so I can certainly see where she’s coming from with that.”
But Nick has ruled out a return to the reality genre that brought him and Jessica notoriety with MTV’s Newlyweds.
“Reality TV is not on my radar,” he said. “You learn lessons in life, and then you have a responsibility to yourself to learn from those lessons.”
When asked if he would consider a reality series with girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, he responded, “No, no, no, no. Never. Never.”

We’re so used to seeing Jessica Simpson out and about alone that it’s nice to see her smiling in the company of a man. After spending a quiet weekend in Mexico, the happy couple was all smiles for cameras in the tropical paradise of Hawaii.
We’re actually rooting for this couple and Tony Romo seems to have made quite an impression on the Simpson clan. “I love him!” gushed Ashlee Simpson. When asked if she is happy for Jess, she replied, “Absolutely happy. He is really cool,” as Ashlee’s boyfriend, Pete Wentz chimed in: “He is a cool dude.”

Jessica Simpson may have set a record at the box office. Her latest film, Blonde Ambition, co-starring Luke Wilson, took in just $1,190 over the weekend. True, it was shown in only eight Texas theaters, but that’s still an average of less than $50 per theater per day, meaning about six people showed up to see it in each location each day. On his TV Guide Online blog, film critic Ken Fox asked, “Doesn’t someone like Jessica Simpson have more than 48 friends? What about that big Texas family of hers? … Just how bad is this thing anyway?”

Terrell Owens has a message for Jessica Simpson: Stay away.
The 27-year-old singer-actress has become Public Enemy No. 1 among Dallas Cowboys fans because of a link being made between her appearance at Sunday’s game and the poor performance of her new boyfriend, quarterback Tony Romo.
“Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite — in this locker room or in Texas Stadium,” Owens said Wednesday.
The Cowboys lost 10-6 to the Philadelphia Eagles and Romo had what was statistically the worst game of his career, all while Simpson sat in a luxury box wearing a pink No. 9 jersey she proudly showed off for television cameras.
The problem for her is, Romo’s previous worst game came last December at home to the Eagles when then-girlfriend Carrie Underwood was in attendance.
“With everything that has happened, obviously with the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel she has taken his focus away,” Owens said, echoing the chatter on sports-talk radio and blogs. “Other than that, she was high on my list until last week.
“Oh, I got a message for her when we make the playoffs. Just stay tuned.”
Update: Just when we were beginning to like Terell, he goes and says he was only kidding. “I tried to get (Romo) to call her so I can explain to her that she doesn’t really know me and that I can be funny. And that everything I say, the media will take it and run with it. It’s not a big deal. I will try to rectify the situation between her and I.”

Someone had better get the Dallas Cowboys back to playing on Sunday. It appears that their quarterback Tony Romo has way to much time on his hands as he reportedly has been caught in a public make out session with his new buxom buddy Jessica Simpson.
The pair are now apparently an item and Tony was spotted with the blonde bombshell this weekend making out like a couple of teenagers. It was last Saturday and Romo had the weekend off as the Cowboys had already played on Thursday.
Us Weekly magazine has the report and cites a witness that spotted the two snuggling at Jessica’s old assistant and pal CaCee Cobb’s 30th birthday bash at Hollywood hot spot Teddy’s December 1. “They were all over each other on the couch, making out,” a Simpson source tells Hot Stuff. “They were on top of each other! It was a little bit much for a public place. He was holding her close and she wasn’t paying attention to anyone else.”
The source adds that Simpson, 27, is “crazy” about her man, also 27, “and gushes about how sweet he is.” Apparently, he’s generous too: Simpson was overheard that night telling pal Ken Pavés that Romo (who recently signed a $67.5 million contract with the Cowboys) picked up the Teddy’s check for their entire 12-person party!
