Jessica Simpson and her kid sister Ashlee may look nearly the same these days, but Jess says there still a bit of difference. She tells Bazaar, “The difference between me and my sister – she goes to a thrift store and can buy something for 20 bucks, and I have to go buy a black button-down at Barneys. For $900. Because it’s a collector’s item.” Is that a shot at Ash or a compliment?
The buxom older sister comes clean on a lot of things in the interview and of course she talks boobs and men. She says, “I dress for men. I dress for men and myself. If I’m dressing for men, then I know it’s good for myself!”
She adds: “I don’t think people really know me anymore. Everybody used to see my day-to-day life; you saw a lot of my personality and my goofiness…I like falling on my face and getting up again, because everybody does it. Everybody has burped at the dinner table once in her life and said excuse me, you know?”
On her chest and other plastic surgery rumors: “I love the bump in my nose. People have said that I’ve had things like a jaw replacement or implant or something. I’m photographed everyday of my life and have never worn any bandages or anything, so how could that be right? But maybe after having kids, if my boobs dropped down to my belly button, I would get them lifted…Maintenance. But you know, my boobs are real.”
No kidding, didn’t her dad Joe clear that up long ago?

A newly blonde Jessica Simpson and John Mayer try to re-kindle their romance on a getaway to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico but things did not go according to plan. These EXCLUSIVE photos show John and Jess having a fight on the balcony of their $2,400 dollar-a-night ocean-front Villa. John holds Jess’s dog Daisy while the couple has an obviously emotional talk. Jessica Simpson and John Mayer were both spotted in New York and are reportedly not as broken up as we’d like to think.
John - who split with Jessica last Monday, insiders say, because he needed more space - was seen exiting Jessica’s hotel looking “really happy,” an eyewitness tells In Touch. “He couldn’t stop smiling.”
A pal of Jessica’s confirms, “They definitely went on a date last night (Sunday, May 20), she still loves him, but he’s scared of commitment. He breaks up with her and then regrets it and then begs her to get back together.”

It appears that the epic romance of Jessica Simpson and John Mayer has run its course. Please … contain your surprise.
As first reported by Perez Hilton, Jess and John have indeed split. TMZ cameras caught a solo Mayer at NYC hotspot Stereo last night, looking just fine on his own. Get in line ladies, he’s single again.
As for the reason for the, er, bustup, a rep for John refused to comment on the Grammy winner’s personal life, as did Jess‘ rep.
Could it be because he’s on the Time 100 Most Influential list having conversations with presidential hopeful John Edwards while she’s pushing her hair extensions?

Jessica Simpson showed up at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala looking several shades too dark — and we’re not just referring to her hair!
But onto what we really care about — her boobs!
This busty babe with an unfortunate case of saggy-breast syndrome, debuted a pair of much higher breasts at last nights event prompting us to wonder if she’s had a little help uplifting the downfall. “They looked like they’re filled with helium!” pointed out one of our staff members.
