Although the picture above tells a different story, Justin Timberlake claims that Britney is a vague memory and he’s certainly not sending her coded messages as some (including us) still have believed.
In a recent interview with British GQ, JT says that he is “so far removed from that situation,” and that he “didn’t know anything” about Britney’s rehab issues when he made his “Stop drinking! You know who you are” comment at a British awards show a couple months back.
He’s got far better things on his mind: He’s midway through his FutureSex/LoveShow tour, which wraps up in China in September, and stars in Black Snake Moan with Christina Ricci and Samuel L. Jackson, currently in theaters.

When it comes to talking about his exes, Justin Timberlake is a model of diplomacy.
Asked what he thinks about Britney Spears‘ recent ups and downs, the singer, 26, demurs, telling Details in its April issue, “We had our thing, and it’s over.”
Nor does he badmouth Cameron Diaz, from whom he split in January after nearly four years together.
Instead, he slams the tabloids that, he says, “create soap operas out of people’s lives.” He won’t take part in the speculation about the people in his life: “I would never say anything bad about anyone,” he says. “I love a lot of those people.”

Hip-hop producer/rapper/Justin’s “best friend” Timbaland wants to be known as the man who saved Britney.
“I feel her pain, it really bothers me,” said Timbaland, who produced hit albums this year for Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado.
“I’m the type of person who tries to save the world. I just want to take her away, go overseas, and work [things] out… I asked Justin, ‘How would you feel about me working with Britney?’ I had to ask him that. I said, ‘Would you do it with me?’” Brit-Brit’s former sweetie agreed, according to Timbaland.
