Kylie Minogue has split from her hot actor boyfriend of four years, Olivier Martinez. The Aussie songstress and the man she described as her “rock” while she was battling cancer, released the following statement:
“They have made it clear that the decision to go their separate ways was mutual and amicable. The media’s false accusations of disloyalty have saddened them both. The two remain very close friends.”
The split follows recent reports which have linked Oliver to various women while Kylie was on tour.

Fans were overjoyed when Kylie Minogue made her grand return to the stage but friends now fear that the Aussie songstress may have come back too soon after her battle with breast cancer. The pop princess is currently on a gruelling 33-date tour but was forced to reschedule two shows after coming down with a bad respiratory infection.
“When Kylie first announced she wanted to tour and record again, there was concern among her friends and family that it was too much, too soon,” a source explained. “She even postponed some medical work that had been planned for last summer in order to concentrate on her Homecoming tour. Some of her close friends tried to talk her into spending some time relaxing and resting. But she took on project after project — and too many dates. She didn’t want to let down her fans.”

We’re just a few weeks away from seeing Kylie make her triumphant return to the stage. The pop princess will be performing a series of homecoming concerts in Australia, but before that she sat down for an interview with Elle magazine. She spoke about overcoming breast cancer and sung the praises of her man, Olivier Martinez, for being an emotional rock during her cancer battle.
“Olli was there all the time, helping with practical stuff and being protective. He didn’t hesitate in cancelling work and putting projects on hold so he could be with me. He has a depth of character, humour, and, well, he’s an old soul. While I look at the whole Dulux colour chart of emotions, he has the ability to see things in black and white. I don’t like to say too much in public about Olivier as he’s a very private person, but I will say that he was incredible.”
Kylie chose to have chemotherapy in Olivier’s native country and says that he was always by her side. Some days were terrible and Kylie would “lie on the bathroom floor wailing”. Olivier would say “OK honey, you can cry for just five minutes, then I’m taking you for a bike ride around Paris.”

Kylie Minogue initially didn’t like her new short hairstyle, but apparently sister Dannii turned her around by telling the singer she looked like actress Natalie Portman. “My mom and I told her, ’Only you and Natalie Portman can carry that look off,’” Dannii said. “It’s taken a while, but Kylie is loving her hairdo now.”

In her first interview since her recovery, Kylie Minogue reveals what it was like the awful moment she discovered she had breast cancer. Minogue explains she was determined to continue with her grueling Showgirl tour despite the news last year, but her family insisted that she not. "The moment my doctors told me, I went silent," she said. "We all fell to pieces, but I was saying, ’No, I’m getting a plane,’ and they said, ’No, you’re not, sit down.’ "
In a recent newspaper interview, Minogue spoke of "the long, hard road" to overcome her illness.
She said she was anxious "to get back into the swing of things". The pop princess is currently working on a new album, but is determined not to put her body under undue stress for the sake of work.
