La princesa del estallido está actualmente en un viaje gruelling de 33 fechas pero fue forzada para cambiar la hora de dos demostraciones después de venir abajo con una mala infección respiratoria.
“Cuando Kylie primero anunció ella deseó viajar y registrar otra vez, había preocupación entre sus amigos y la familia que era demasiado, demasiado pronto,” una fuente explicó. “Ella incluso pospuso un cierto trabajo médico que había sido planeado para el verano pasado para concentrarse en ella Viaje de Homecoming. La princesa del estallido realizará una serie de conciertos homecoming en Australia, pero antes eso que ella se sentó abajo para una entrevista con el compartimiento de Elle. Ella habló sobre la superación del cáncer de pecho y cantado las alabanzas de su hombre, Olivier Martinez, para ser una roca emocional durante su batalla del cáncer.
“Olli estaba allí toda la hora, ayudando con la materia práctica y siendo protector. He didn’t hesitate in cancelling work and putting projects on hold so he could be with me. He has a depth of character, humour, and, well, he’s an old soul. While I look at the whole Dulux colour chart of emotions, he has the ability to see things in black and white. I don’t like to say too much in public about Olivier as he’s a very private person, but I will say that he was incredible.”
Kylie chose to have chemotherapy in Olivier’s native country and says that he was always by her side. Some days were terrible and Kylie would “lie on the bathroom floor wailing”. Olivier would say “OK honey, you can cry for just five minutes, then I’m taking you for a bike ride around Paris.”

Kylie Minogue initially didn’t like her new short hairstyle, but apparently sister Dannii turned her around by telling the singer she looked like actress Natalie Portman. “My mom and I told her, ’Only you and Natalie Portman can carry that look off,’” Dannii said. “It’s taken a while, but Kylie is loving her hairdo now.”

In her first interview since her recovery, Kylie Minogue reveals what it was like the awful moment she discovered she had breast cancer. Minogue explains she was determined to continue with her grueling Showgirl tour despite the news last year, but her family insisted that she not. "The moment my doctors told me, I went silent," she said. "We all fell to pieces, but I was saying, ’No, I’m getting a plane,’ and they said, ’No, you’re not, sit down.’ "
In a recent newspaper interview, Minogue spoke of "the long, hard road" to overcome her illness.
She said she was anxious "to get back into the swing of things". The pop princess is currently working on a new album, but is determined not to put her body under undue stress for the sake of work.
