Nick Wishes Jessica Happiness In Love

Nick Lachey has given his blessing to ex Jessica Simpson and her boyfriend Tony Romo.
“I wish her nothing but happiness,” says Nick. ”If she’s found that… good for her.”
Amid talk that Jess may be returning to the small screen with a CMT special, Nick understands her motives.
“I did a show a show around the making of my last record,” he says. “It was kind of a documentary that I did with MTV about making a record… that is an idea that I had and I thought it was a good one, so I can certainly see where she’s coming from with that.”
But Nick has ruled out a return to the reality genre that brought him and Jessica notoriety with MTV’s Newlyweds.
“Reality TV is not on my radar,” he said. “You learn lessons in life, and then you have a responsibility to yourself to learn from those lessons.”
When asked if he would consider a reality series with girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo, he responded, “No, no, no, no. Never. Never.”

In their exclusive interview and photo shoot with OK!, Nick & Vanessa open up about Christmas traditions in their home. “My dad plays the Beach Boys and Ray Charles Christmas albums,” says Vanessa, while Nick’s favorite things to do are, “putting up the tree, watching football, eating leftovers and going to midnight service on Christmas Eve with my grandparents.”
As for marriage, Vanessa says, “I’m not going to put a time on things and say I’m going to do this by this time. We’re happy today — no pressure for tomorrow.”
“We’re trying to start our own traditions,” Vanessa says. “The day after Thanksgiving, we were in L.A. and we put up the tree, drank eggnog, put on Christmas carols… and it was 91 degrees! We were putting up stockings while sweating!”
“He drops chocolate & chili on the carpet a lot,” Vanessa reveals about her beau’s worst habit.
“I feel like I’m getting to know a whole new side of Nick,” Vanessa explains. “I can’t even think things anymore because he already knows what I’m thinking about!”

We love Vanessa Minnillo’s smile, but understandably the men appreciate her other assets more! Playboy senior executive photographer editor, Patty Beaudet-Frances, admits the hottie is perfect for Playboy material. “Vanessa is absolutely right for Playboy. She’s very sexy and more sophisticated than a lot of women her age,” Beaudet-Frances tells In Touch Weekly. For some reason, we don’t see old fashioned Nick being too thrilled with the potential offer!
