Although holding hands, Nick and Vanessa looked a little glum as they hit the beach in Bahamas, perhaps they were so relaxed on holiday they couldn’t even use their muscles to raise a smile. The couple were at Paradise Island to attend the grand opening of the Cove Atlantis Hotel.

Looking pretty in her fancy hat, Vanessa Minnillo attended the Kentucky Derby with her man by her side. Nick was excited to place his bets while mint juleps in souvenir derby glasses flowed all night long. However, just moments before THIS picture was taken, Nick almost a had a run-in with a guy who was not so representative of Southern hospitality.
According to Nick (via his reps), the couple were making their way through the party at Club Felt, led by Nick’s bodyguard, when some drunk guy yanked Nick’s arm causing Vanessa to fall down.
While Vanessa tried to calm her pissed off boytoy, nearby police took control of the situation and cuffed the guy. They asked Nick if he wanted to press charges, but Lachey and Minnillo were content to just put the night behind them.

Churchill Downs rolled out the red carpet for celebrities arriving for the Kentucky Derby on Saturday, and lined it with rose petals. A few famous faces turned up, among them Nick Lachey with a new woman on his arm, as opposed to the one he so famously showed up with in 2004. Jessica’s hat may be prettier, but in Vanessa’s defense, her hat was hand picked out by Nick himself. He even had input on what dress she should wear!

On April 15 the couple of one year braved a nor’easter to move into their two-bedroom condo in Manhattan’s new Atelier building.
“Nick carried the huge boxes while Vanessa helped with the small ones,” a source tells People magazine. “They were soaked.” (Rapper Eve also lives in the high-rise, which has a basketball court and indoor pool.)

Ken knows Vanessa would like to become a client and that’s fine with him, but his first loyalty is always to Jessica and he doesn’t want to upset her. It’s an awkward situation because Ken hates to say no, but what choice does he have?
