The World Music Awards took place in London last night for the first time in 18 years with party animal Lindsay Lohan as the host. Canadian singer Nelly Furtado, who walked away empty handed at the MTV Europe Music Awards, ended up taking home the award for World’s Best Pop/Rock Artist for her song Maneater.

Beyonce looked absolutely beautiful as she accepted her award for Best R&B artist. The Bootylicious singer was also there to present MJ with the Diamond Award, an honour for artists who have sold more than 100 million records. Introducing MJ she said: ” Tonight we are celebrating 25 years of “Thriller”. If it wasn’t for Michael Jackson I would never have ever performed. I love you, we all love you.”
