We thought we’d take a breather from Britney and Kevin and post someone we don’t hear much about nowadays- Gwen Stefani! Her second solo album “The Sweet Escape” is supposed to be hitting stores by December 5, 2006. But what can we expect from the new album? “The Sweet Escape, is quite different from my first. I started recording while I was pregnant with my son, Kingston, and it’s evolved over this past year. This album is more dance than retro,” Gwen explains.

The Neptunes, Akon, Keane’s Tim Rice-Oxley, Nellee Hooper, Swizz Beats, and the Eurythmics’ Dave Stewart are among the contributors on the record, as is No Doubt’s (and Gwen’s ex-boyfriend) Tony Kanal.
