Nick And Vanessa Won’t Be Newlyweds Anytime Soon

Fed up of constant engagement rumors, Nick Lachey insists that he has no imminent plans to marry again. “The four-letter word that starts with an ‘R’ - we are not dealing with that one yet.” he says. However, Nick and Vanessa seem to be happy with their current situation. “We are very happy. I have no complaints.” the singer said.

I can see it now… that quote will be turned into “the relationship is falling apart”, “Nick and Vanessa: Unhappy and Split!” simply because he’s not running to the jewelry store. I hope he’s telling the truth and that they are happy and that he has no complaints. I just really like these two together. (assuming she can’t be me, of course!) ha.

Hey Alissa! What’s up! I totally agree with you. The media is all over these two. There’s always one engagement rumor after the other. No wonder celebs marry and divorce as fast as they’ve married…because of the constant pressure from the media. I’m happy for Nick and if I were him I’d take my own cool time. The guy just got out of a marriage for God’s sake!

Trish, your rock sista. You’re one of the few people that I think has a cool sense about the normalcy of these celebrities. They’re real folks just like us yet the expectations of them are through the roof. I agree… it’s almost as though they’re set up to fail. Ugh … I hope these two separate themselves just enough from the limelight that they’re able to ‘get it right’.

They’ve only been dating what 8 months? They’re still in that phase of their relationship where they’re still getting to know each other. They’re great together…don’t get me wrong…I see this couple lasting but let’s be real. If it were someone we knew and if they decided to marry within months of meeting each other we’d wonder if that’s the best thing to do. I’m just so glad he’s not rushing into things. I’m not a big Nick Lachey fan but from what i’ve seen and read about him he sounds like a wonderful person who takes marriage and his vows seriously…
