Nick Lachey decided to do a little posting of his own the other day. Nick Lachey décidé de faire un peu de détachement de sa propre l'autre jour. In a move to “to stay closer to all [his] fans,” Nick, for the first time ever posted the following statement on his official site: Dans une démarche à «rester plus proche de tous [ses] supporters," Nick, pour la première fois, récemment, la déclaration suivante sur son site officiel:

Hello everyone! Bonjour tout le monde! I’ve never been one to be especially savvy on the computer, but I thought I’d give this whole “blogging” thing a try. I hope this can be a way for me to stay closer to all of my fans who have so faithfully supported me for so long. I promise you all that this will be written by me and only me and will hopefully give everyone a little more insight into not only my career, but who I am as well. Let me start by saying thank you. Permettez-moi de commencer par dire merci. I know it’s said all the time and sometimes feels a little predictable, but I really do thank all of you. The support I received on the last album and tour was incredible and a real dream come true for me. L'appui que j'ai reçu le dernier album et tournée a été incroyable et un véritable rêve pour moi. That album was a very important project for me both personally and professionally and you all made it happen. So, what have I been doing since? Alors, qu'est-ce que j'ai fait depuis? Well, I’m back in the studio again working on the next project. Eh bien, je suis de retour dans le nouveau studio de travail sur le projet suivant. Every time you go into the studio, there is degree of uncertainty to it. I never know how things are going to go, what I’m going to feel like writing about, what kind of musical direction things will take, etc. so far, I am incredibly excited about where this next project is going. Je ne peux pas attendre pour vous tous de l'entendre. I’m hoping to have a new single out by the end of the year and an album out by early 2008. I also want to apologize to those of you who were planning on coming to some of the concerts that were scheduled for this July. Je voudrais également présenter mes excuses à ceux d'entre vous qui envisagent de venir à quelques-uns des concerts qui étaient prévus pour cette Juillet. Unfortunately, the concert in New Jersey was cancelled and so we decided to postpone the others until the new CD is done. I know a lot of you came and saw the last tour and I want to give you all an even better show the next time around.
