Lionel Richie ”hurt” over negative media
July 25, 06 by Ballz!Lionel Richie told “Access Hollywood†that the media attention his adopted daughter, Nicole receives about her weight really bothers him.
Lionel said: “I’ll be honest with you, it hurts me more than it hurts her. I’m more sensitive. I take it more personally. I must tell you, I’m the basket case.”
Lionel also revealed that he has had words with his daughter about her weight and general health.
He added: “What are fathers for if you can’t point the finger every once in a while? “The good part of it is she is aware of it. She has heard this all her life from me so this is just a continuation of the reminder.”
Nicole recently admitted that she was too thin and wouldn’t want young girls to copy her look.

Hm! So Lionel is a “basketcase” over Nicole’s plunging weight, huh? Well, perhaps he should fill a basket of high-calorie foods and shove them down the throat of that waif-daughter of his!
Oh and as far as this “she has heard this all her life from me,” nothing could be farther from the truth because Nicole has not been THIS SIZE for her entire life. Maybe when she was a 6-year old girl, but to be a 24 year old woman and to still be in kids clothes is dangerously pathetic!

CC you must remember that she is 24 not 4! So how the heck can her father shove down anything down her throat for God’s sake!
The girl has a lot of problems and maybe it is serious too so why lash out at someone who needs help? Sometimes it can just happen when you lose control of your life. These celebrity kids do face problems from young and it does show up in various ways. I do wish tho she will buck-up her heath or she may face serious consequences..
