Pink Mourns Elvis’ Death

Pink and Elvis

Having lost a dog myself I can tell you losing your dog is one of the worst things that can happen. But when you lose a pet to drowning it doesn’t get any worse than that. Animal lover Pink first-hand experienced the heartbreak that comes with losing a pet.

The singer left her L.A. home for a short time and returned to find her bulldog Elvis lifelessly floating in her backyard pool. She desperately tried to revive the little fellow but it was too late. Elvis would often swim in the pool and had never got into any difficulty before.

The superstar is very hurt, understandably, especially since Elvis was given to her by good friend Lisa Marie Presley, hence the name.

I’m so sorry to hear that SPACEKITTY. But you’re right at least she is out of her misery. It would be wonderful if our pets had the same life span as we do, but the reality is, they can’t be with us for as long as we’d like.

I remember I had to leave my dog behind when I was travelling to Sweden and that was the toughest thing I’d ever done. I figured though I’d temporarily leave him with a close family friend for sometime and before I knew it he’d be with me!

Little did I know that close friend would be the same person to put Pepe to sleep. (Without my permission may I add!) It still hurts to this day but the thing that I found helped me most in my grieving process was getting another little doggy.

You can never replace your old pet, but you can get another one. You’ll even find yourself a better owner the second time around because your first cat taught you how.
