Again, I see your point. But I still say that Kendra, nor any of the other women who sell their bodies for sex have any REAL intelligence because they are being, for lack of a better word, pimped.

Look behind any of these efforts and what will you find? In MOST cases, you will find a MALE (or several males!) who is/are the mastermind/s behind the sex sells industry! He/These Men give a great deal of thought to how they can successfully exploit women, and since the beginning of time, and long after we are gone, there will unfortunately, always be women who will be willing to use their bodies to sell sex.

And really, there is nothing intelligent about having a good body and face and allowing others to MAINLY profit from it. Nothing at all. I mean, really, who do you think gets most of the money: the hooker or her pimp? Or, who is getting the MOST money, Kendra or Hugh Hefner?

The sex sells industry is firmly rooted in patriarchy and this is WHY I detest it so much! Because MEN who think of women as nothing but sex objects, carefully craft ways to convince women that they can be rich and famous (Funny, but these men never promote disrespect as one of the byproducts of this lifestyle to the women they exploit!) and this will immediately benefit them (Again, the Almighty Dollar).

Patriarchy (the dominance of men in the world in terms of power and financial earnings) may be behind WHY these women jump into this sex sells industry, but I still applaud women who say, “You know, I have a great face and ass, but I REFUSE to participate in an industry that strips women of their dignity.” For a woman to say THIS is intelligence in my book.

I do understand your point as well. I mean, we don’t know Kendra’s background, or the backgrounds of thousands of women who get sucked into a life of using their bodies to sell sex. I really do see your point here. I mean, these women weren’t born thinking, “Wow. When I get big, I wanna pose naked in a men’s magazine so that all my goodies are on display for the world to see! That will surely earn me plenty respect!” (LOL) No. It doesn’t quite happen that way. I think that for most of these women it’s not a situation where their fathers or mothers abandoned them or abused them in any way (e.g., emotionally, physically, sexually, spiritually, financially), I think that MOST of this skankless behavior is influenced by The Almighty Dollar. Period. We live in a society where women, like men, want to get rich quick, and they will quickly hand their souls over to the Devil himself to become rich and famous. But women that do this need to realize that while they may become rich and famous, men (and most women for that matter) in general, will not respect them or their choice…regardless of what got them there. Do you see my point?

But wait! Are you saying that Kendra is an “intelligent business woman?” Okayyyyyyyyyyyyy. (LOL) Well, if this is what you’re saying, I’m gonna have to respectfully disagree with you on that one. The ONLY intelligent businessperson in that whole scenario is Hugh Hefner. He has successfully pimped women over the years to his advantage and he’s the real mastermind behind their sleaziness.

It’s not my intent to argue with you as I feel you’re not only entitled to your own opinion but possess a number of very valid points! However… I guess what I hear you saying is that you are entitled to respect if you’re a model citizen and withstand the stereotypical nature of a “lady” that has been expectant of us since the 1800’s. I believe that one must respect themselves in order to be respected by others! A beautiful, confident young woman who gets paid millions to have fun, party and shake what her momma gave her sounds more like an intelligent Business woman than a selfless skank.

I guess I’m not comfortable condoning disrespectful behaviors toward SOME women and not others. There are a number of women who do what they do– and we haven’t a clue what got them there!

I hardly see Eminem being this disrespectful to Hillary Rodham-Clinton or Condoleezza Rice. Why? Because those women ooze intelligence, class, and decorum in their dress, speech, AND behavior.

You know, it really gets me when Playboy Bunnies scream about how men disrespect them! I mean, I find it almost comical when a woman who has no problem baring her breasts or spreading her legs in a magazine (that will go to millions of men no less!) immediately scream about how she’s sick and tired of being “disrespected” or having men view her as nothing but a sex object.

You know, my parents always told me that people treat you according to how they PERCEIVE you (which is largely based on your actions)….and let’s face it, when people think of Playboy or any of those bunnies, class is the last word that comes to mind.

Perhaps if Kendra REALLY wants respect, she will quickly distance herself from Playboy, work on being an intelligent blonde (instead of a stupid one!) and put on some clothes.
