Another mugshot for the archive kids! And this time it’s Kid Rock!
The singer was all smiles for his police mugshot after being arrested for brawling in an Atlanta restaurant. The singer - real name Robert Ritchie - was arrested in the early hours after a fight broke out in a waffle house. Rock was one of five people in his entourage arrested on battery charges following the fight, according to cops. The rocker had been in the restaurant after performing at a gig in the city when a male customer recognized a female member of Rock’s group and started an argument.
“At 5:15am officers were called to the waffle house in reference to a fight,” said DeKalb County police officer Mekka Parish. “After investigating it turned out that Robert Ritchie, also known as Kid Rock, was in the restaurant with his entourage. A female member of the entourage was recognized by a male customer in the waffle house and the pair started to have an argument. The argument then escalated to a physical altercation involving Kid Rock along with other members of his entourage and the man”. Police added that the man involved in the initial argument, who police identify as Harlen Akins, 39, was also arrested.
