Looking red hot on the cover of Flare, that reads ”I’m the happiest I’ve ever been!” a gorgeous Nelly Furtado sure has a lot to celebrate.
The mayors of Victoria and neighbouring Saanich, where Nelly grew up, proclaimed March 21st as Nelly Furtado Day!
An estimated 1,500 fans — mostly young girls — gathered before noon at Centennial Square, hoping to catch a glimpse of the Grammy-winning singer.
Overwhelmed by the experience, Nelly took time to indulge fans in Victoria, B.C. by signing dozens of autographs and posing for photographs.
