A deal between a U.S publication and Christina Aguilera over exclusive photos of her new baby has reportedly fallen through.
Insiders say that negotiations with OK! over rights to the first pictures of little Max Liron Bratman ground to a halt when the mag couldn’t guarantee a full-cover photo of Christina and her tot.
An industry source tells MSNBC: “Christina has an inflated sense of her own value and seems to expect an extortionate amount of money for these baby pictures.
“I’m not sure OK! or much of the industry thinks is a dollar figure that’s worth it. … She hasn’t proven to be a real seller.”
It’s claimed that OK! wasn’t prepared to meet Christina’s demands because the singer has a history of under-performing on newsstands.
According to the source: “The OK! wedding cover didn’t sell as well as they hoped, and even her recent Marie Claire cover underperformed, all things considered.”

Paris Hilton and actress Elisha Cuthbert were “all over each other and making out” at New York’s Tenjune club Tuesday night.
“Who knew?” says the source of the unlikely pairing. Hilton, 26, and Cuthbert, 25 (who costarred in 2005’s House of Wax), didn’t arrive at Tenjune together. Hilton was there for a birthday party and was seen dancing on banquets. “It’s Paris,” says the source. “She loves putting on a show.”

Mariah Carey just HAD to make a quick stop at Van Cleef & Arpels in Beverly Hills on her way to the airport to catch a flight to New York. She spent her shopping time there perusing the diamonds fearlessly because she had several burly bodyguards surrounding her at all times. Decorated with a few new sparkly things, she gleefully departed.

It happened again late last night: Britney Spears was shuttled to the hospital - this time to UCLA Medical Center - in an ambulance surrounded by police and paparazzi. Fortunately things went down differently for the pop princess’ second hospital stint, dare we even say calmly. Brit’s new psychiatrist set off the chain of events, which had apparently been planned for days, after he determined that her behavior was reckless (driving around like a lunatic in a pink wig) and deteriorating (not sleeping since Saturday. Saturday!!!).
He called the police and paramedics, who knew of the plan beforehand and referred to Britney in code, calling her “The Package.” Britney was extremely calm during the entire thing, making herself hot chocolate and waiting in silence. Her mom, however, apparently freaked out, and there is allegedly major tension between the family and Sam Lutfi, who orchestrated the whole event.
Also on the scene: cousin Alli Sims, an aunt, Britney’s dad Jamie, and her bizarre paparazzi-boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.
Britney is now currently at the hospital (where she’s been allowed smoking breaks) under a 72-hour hold, and could be kept as long as 14 days. There’s allegedly some drama between her family and Sam over who gets to make the medical decisions for Brit, as she had her lawyers draft up papers after her last hospital stint that puts Lutfi in charge of her medical decisions. Apparently Brit’s dad blew up at Sam and accused him of trying to control Brit’s life.
Check out the above video of the scene as Britney was taken away from her house to the hospital late last night. Apparently the line of police and medical vehicles “stretched longer than a football field.” Only the best for America’s pop princess.
