Just a few updates on the drama-filled soap opera otherwise known as the Anna Nicole Smith trial.

• Howard was first to take the stand to offer his testimony about his relationship with Anna, he claimed that he became “more than friends” with the former Playboy Playmate two years ago. “We became more than friends,” he said. “She was my whole world, everything to me. She was my lover.”
• Howard also added told the court that Anna Nicole was “really bothered” that Virgie Arthur, her mother and the woman battling him for her remains, told the media that he or Anna had murdered Anna’s son Daniel Smith.
• HKS claims that he didn’t want to get formally married to Anna because he didn’t want to be perceived as a gold-digger, even though it was Smith’s wish to marry. This comes just a day after this highly disturbing video aired last night on Greta Van Susteren’s show on FOX News Channel. The video shows a drugged up and eight-months PREGNANT Anna Nicole stammering and stuttering, as Howard K. Stern videotapes her and rhapsodizes about how much money the clip will be worth.
• Broward County Medical Examiner Joshua Perper telephoned the court to tell the judge that the body of Anna Nicole Smith is deteriorating faster than normal. The body needs to be examined this week, rather than within the two weeks that had been stipulated before.
